For this project, I was assigned to a group of five other third-years (Shaylee Shepard - Visual Communication, Ben Chamberlin - Interior Design, Karam Ramadan - Industrial Design, and Karl Ludwig - Industrial Design) to create and complete a co-design research packet on a topic of our choosing.
The team decided to study trends in clothes for college aged people, using initial research and secondary research to establish a foundation of knowledge. With this knowledge, the team synthesized two phases for data collection.
The first phase was in-person, and recruited participants arrived on-site to complete a series of persona exercises. The second phase was online and asynchronous, where participants had to complete both an individual experience map and a self-perception pyramid.
With the data collected, we analyzed and visualized our findings to generate knowledge and insights into youth fashion.

The purpose of the research.
Preliminary Research
Initial research included observations and surveys to collect data that would help inform future co-design decisions.
In-Person Research
Participants were recruited and asked to create a persona for each "starter pack" they were given. these were grunge, athleisure, and business casual.
Online Research
Final research was done asynchronously online with a different set of participants. After gathering the data, we analyzed it into personas and a line graph.
This button leads to the team's Miro Board that documents every step of the research process. There we collected all our data and collaborated both in-person and asynchronously.
