Overview
Teamed up with three other designers, (Frederica Le Cardinal - international Interior Design fourth year, Florence Palardy - UdeM Design third year, and Jackie Brandon - OSU Industrial Design third year) the team was ordered to analyze and redesign an existing software program with a focus on improving UI/UX elements.
Together, we decided to work on the Google Maps app, and conducted field research and observed user testing to find pain points to improve upon. Our varied levels of familiarity with the software aided us in understanding the breadth of the user experience.
Once completed, the design proposal process book and final mock-ups were sent to the Google HQ located in Montréal.
