This project's focus was on space analysis. Mainly, how our group (Group 2: Summer Geissman, Annie Waugh - both second years) could take the Oxley's Number Garden space and insert a Little Free Library, fully service modeled and cared for with a community of it's own. Our group made efforts to keep things simple and avoid detracting from the main attractions of the space.
Final renders. Discreet, brushed steel exteriors with a variety of hinged and latched doors echoing the space's mathematical theme. The books contained are highly creative works.
Place Analysis
Our place analysis was based off of four criteria. First, the physical aspects in the space, then the moving or temporal aspects, followed by the moods and feelings of the space, and finally the spirit of the place.
The results of a survey conducted for anyone who was walking through the space. This helped the group understand how to move foreword with designing the service model.

The digital aspects of the Little Free Library consisted of a community-building Facebook page where users could talk about the books they read and share recommendations!
Early concepts iterated based off of the four aspects of our place analysis.
