Video submission created by me for judges to view.
In this project, I was grouped with two other industrial design majors (Summer Geissman - second year,  Leila Akberdin - fourth year) in a special Design Charette to reinvigorate the Hayes-Hopkins courtyard. With help from our sponsor, IC3D, we designed 3D-printed furniture to activate the space and encourage collaboration. As a strong and organized team, our group (Team L) managed to receive several superlative awards and jury top picks.
Awards our group won.
The final poster design was created by Leila Akberdin with help from Summer Geissman and myself.
Place Analysis
Working together, we made a plan:
Spend the first few days of the Charette analyzing the space. We all took notes to understand the four aspects of any place, the physical, the temporal, the emotional, and the spirit. We used this to inform all future decisions.
Design Process
Early ideation with key attributes in mind.
The first concept. Quickly scrapped in favor for the final design.
