LATCH - Portable Door Lock
This video was created in collaboration with the DESI
GN 4101 course, the goal of which being to create a short video showcasing the designers and their product they're selling at the Winter Market. I was assigned to the three-person team that created LATCH; a portable door lock you can take anywhere.

With a skeleton crew of only my industrial design peer Annie Roo and myself, we conducted and entirely staged, lit, and professionally recorded an interview to later edit independently in Adobe Premiere Pro for submission.
Animatic
The second project of the course tasked me to compare two design objects, one from Jay Doblin's 1959 magazine publication "best designed mass-produced products of modern times", and the other from IIT Institute of Design's 2019 study "100 Great Designs of Modern Times."

I chose to compare and contrast the iconic LEGO brick and Eames Chair, linking the two not by cosmetics, but by story.
Animation Fundamentals
Being the first project in the course, the point of this work was to begin understanding the basics of animation. By drawing on actual notecards to create a flipbook, we then scanned the result and digitized it, adding speed variation and sound.
